I had purchased a Metrodeal voucher for an overnight stay for 2 in a Superior air-conditioned room with free breakfast at Virgin Beach Resort, Daanbantayan, Cebu that would expire on July 13, 2012. Since the voucher is expiring very soon, I hurriedly made a reservation for me and BF through their email address a week before our planned checkin. I received the confirmation two days after.

The best thing I could describe Virgin Beach Resort is that it is a "Home away from Home". The ambiance is so homey and peaceful. They offer lots of fun activities for everyone to enjoy, though we were not able to avail of those as BF and I are very tired and just slept almost the whole day. Nonetheless, we were able to swim at the pool, watch TV and DVD's and availed of the free WIFI(fast internet connection).

The resort itself has a big lot area, there are lots of cottages for overnight stays and poolside cottages for those staying only for a day. I love the view of the place because of its lush tropical landscaping.

There are only a few staffs in the resort but don't fret coz their accommodating and doesn't give you an ugly/sad/hate face. Never hesitate to ask for help. One of the positive plus factor in the resort is their food. The price might seem higher compared to local fastfoods but it is not expensive. A viand is already good for 2 persons and very delicious. The rice though is a bit expensive, P25/cup. Their food is way better than those of Ocean Beach Resort in Dalaguete(food is not cooked well - read, "hilaw") and Kota Beach in Bantayan(not worth the price; tastes ordinary).
