Ice Cream:
I so love Gelatissimo. It has this distinct taste and creaminess which makes it stand-out from other local ice cream brands(et. al. Selecta, Nestle, Magnolia). You can really taste it's texture and its very light on the tongue. Seems like an ice cream version of M&M's trademark, "Melts in your mouth...". They have a wide variety of flavors. I do like it that they offer several fruit flavors. I prefer fruits coz they are healthy. I believe the fruit can compliment to the unhealthiness of ice cream in itself, thus making it healthy after all.

Pizza parlors in Cebu are very visible nowadays. They are like everywhere. Local chains like Da Vinci's Pizza, Alberto's, JCA, Calda's and national pizza franchises like Shakeys, Pizza Hut, Greenwich, YellowCab and etc have been competing rigorously. Cebuanos are now very hooked with pizzas that they can substitute their regular meal with pizzas only. I, myself, can have pizza for lunch or dinner and not starve. I could just remember the days when I was still young, that we find it hard to buy a pizza. Not only because there are only a few sellers and a variety of pizza readily available but because it is expensive back then.
As time passes by, pizza have been gaining popularity in Cebu. Different varieties are available. You can buy thin or thick crust pizza, which ever you prefer and there are lots of them which are sold cheap. You can have a 9 or 10" pizza for only 90-100+ pesos and most of them tastes good.
Ryan's Pizzarelli House is another addition to the number of pizza parlors in Cebu. They have been serving great tasting pizzas since last year but have acquired their location early this year. Bf and I had tried their pizza once while celebrating our monthsary. We were their for dinner and had the Calzone which costs only 230 pesos. All their pizzas are sized 14". We weren't able to finish our pizza and ate only half of it 'coz we were very full already. The pizza is huge and stuffed with lots of meat, spices and vegetables. I can smell the scent and aroma of a pizza unlike other pizzas I've tasted which doesn't smell or taste like the real thing. We were very satisfied with our meal.
Will I come back to Ryan's Pizzarelli House? Surely I will. And I'll try out other varieties and flavors.

One famous shawarma store in Cebu is the Leylam's Shawarma. Leylam's Shawarma has already become a household name for shawarma fanatics. They have branches in almost all major malls and supermarkets here in Cebu. Their shawarma is wrapped in pita bread (if I'm not mistaken), stuffed with beef, fresh tomatoes, onions and etc. A piece of shawarma usually costs more or less 50 pesos.
While bf and I were strolling around Robinsons Cybergate Mall, we felt the need to eat. We were hungry then, so we decided to buy food which is readily available. We bumped into Leylam's Shawarma and ordered Shawarma rice to keep us full. It's a combination of shawarma beef, vegetables and shawarma sauce. It tasted a bit sweet and spicy(I chose the spicy one) and it tastes really good. It's already a very cheap but satisfying meal for me.
My verdict?
I'm sure gonna try another cup of shawarma rice soon. By the way, only selected branches of Leylam's shawarma sells shawarma rice.

I prefer to buy unroasted peanuts because I find the roasted ones as cause of my pimples(I am prone to them). They say it causes acne and pimples how much more if it's deep fried in oil.
