David Cook is my favorite male American Idol. I watched him all season during the competition. He was a dark horse which everyone thought is a nobody at first. But he emerged as "The Real" contender when he sang Michael Jackson's Billie Jean and Mariah Carey's Always Be My Baby. After singing these hits, he gained huge popularity thus beating frontrunner David Archuleta in becoming the season's winner. He also gained a lot of Filipino fans and due to public demand he was able to held a concert together with David Archuleta last 2009.
This year David Cook, season 7 winner of American Idol, will once again be in the Philippines to hold a concert for his Filipino fans. He will be in Manila on July 14 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum while on July 15, 2012 he'll be in Cebu at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino.
This would be his first concert here in Cebu so I'm very excited and ecstatic knowing about it. I would like to buy tickets but prices seem to be too much for me. I could probably get the lowest price in the balcony for P700 but still I need to think it over. I do hope someone would give me free tickets for this concert (crossing fingers). Nonetheless, I know it would be a fun night coz David is one of the best male American Idol for me.
