My personal search for the best-valued burger will begin in 5.4.3.2.1... Nah, just joking. But honestly, I've decided to add more burger-related posts here in my blog. As what I've always mentioned here that burger is my new found food fad(hmm, what a rhyme).
Burger Joint is one of Cebu's best kept secret burger place. Its sole branch is located at Mabolo area. I've once visited their stall a year ago and it is quite a simple stall with al fresco dining area. This time we opted to have our burger meals delivered. Minimum order for delivery is P350 with no delivery charge. Delivery areas within Cebu City and preferably those near their branch.
We had the Joint Burger meal(P130), Hawaiin Burger ala carte(P120), hotdog sulit meal(P75) and an additional order of their famous onion rings(P38). The burger meal comes with a choice of fries or onion rings (we chose the latter) and 16oz iced tea while 12oz for the hotdog meal. The bill totaled P363.

BF and I first tried the hawaiin burger and initial reaction is awesome, deliciouso. I/We want more. The wheat bun is soft, my favorite condiments and relish(tomato, lettuce, pickles, mayo etc.) are present. Because its hawaiin style, pineapple and bacon are also present. The patty is grilled to perfection. Though the patty is a bit dry, the mayo kept it juicy in every bite. Did I tell you this burger is huge? The size is comparable to Army Navy's burger but is cheaper. You can hardly take a bite so instead slice it first. The Joint Burger on the other hand is a disappointment. The burger is very dry so we needed to add ketchup.

The onion rings is also my favorite. For me, they had the best onion rings. I don't actually like onions but this one's an exception. The breading made it taste like you're eating chicken instead of onions. Yeah, its that good. I devoured those two and wished to have more. Their iced tea is also very good. Not the regular fastfood iced tea. They probably added a secret flavoring, hehehe.

Burger Joint's Hawaiin burger is my second best burger next to Don Merto's hearty burger. Price is affordable and burger is of good quality. Definitely wanting to come back again soon. I do hope they'd open another branch which is more accessible.

Burger Joint is opening soon at The Gallery! Yeeey! Their burgers are soooo good I don't understand why the much inferior Flame It is all over town and the superior Burger Joint has until only recently been only available in Mabolo.

ReplyDeleteThe best burgers are still with FlameIt. They give out eco-bags, too. How eco-friendly is that? That's good marketing, the way Bisaya Short Films (these are mine!) does it. Is Burger Joint in Cebu still around?
