A newly opened restaurant at IT Park, Cebu City was our foodtrip target. BF and I love fried chicken so we both agreed to dine at Chicken Charlie. Boasting a double-frying technique(they say its a healthier alternative) for their specialty chicken, expect Chicken Charlie to have a variety of fried foods to their (limited)menu.

3-piece chicken wings |
2-pc drumstick |
chicken wings and rice combo |
BF and I both had their value meals which is already a complete meal composed of chicken, rice and iced tea. BF chose 2-drums, soy garlic sauce, meal while I had 3-wings, hot sweet sauce, meal. Wow, I truly/greatly/awesomely and more 'lys love my hot sweet sauce chicken. The chicken is bursting with flavor. Also, it smells so good. The chicken is very crunchy on the outside but juicy inside. This is by far the best fried chicken for me. I love spicy foods and this one's got just enough hotness in it. Their signature soy garlic sauce is not for me. I don't find it special, tastes ordinary for me(tastes like fried lechon manok).
cheesesticks |
The insides - cheese-filled, wrapped, green chili |
We also ordered cheesesticks and this one's also a must-try. This cheese-filled green chili with mayo serves as an appetizer and is quite an interesting dish for us.
I find it pricier than chicken set meals from fastfoods because the chicken slices are smaller. But the delicious chicken is worth a try. And once you try it you'd definitely want to come back. I'd surely be back at Chicken Charlie and satisfy myself with the hot sweet sauce chicken.

P.S. In their brochure it states that combo meal comes with free pickled radish but we weren't given any, so better ask the staff if ever you visit here to confirm.
