Last Monday, I received a text message from a software company located
in IT Park if I am available for an employment exam. I said yes, but I'm
kinda hesitant in applying for this as I've recently experienced being
rejected by another software company. But as per BF's advice, it's a
good opportunity and this might be it. So I did went on with the exam at
9am. The employment exam lasted for almost 2 hours but prior to that we
were shown a short video about the company which took almost 30mins. I
finished the exam at around 11.30am and hurriedly walked outside while
deciding on where I'd have my solo lunch. Solo lunches are boring. I
pitied myself while eating alone, hahaha. But that's fine, this is a
sign of independence and at my mid 20s, I should be independent.
So where did I have my solo lunch? At Kul Kitchen Skyrise 1. This is my first time dining here but I have been in their branch at Fuente and it was a good experience, good food reasonable prices. They have a wide array of choices in their menu ranging from 90-200 pesos. Their menu offering includes main dishes, pastas, salads, appetizers and different kinds of cold beverages.
But since I'm currently on a tight budget I opted to order their combo meals. I had the Chorizo pinoy(3pcs) with egg(choice of sunny-side-up or scrambled), garlic rice and iced tea for P55. Easy on the pocket, right? My order arrived after almost 10 mins with an adequate serving of garlic rice, 3 pieces of cutely sliced longganisa and scrambled egg. I was expecting to have a chorizo, but this seems like longganiza for me, maybe chorizo pinoy is a longganiza??? Hmmm, maybe I'm not sure. As everything in my plate looks all familiar and ordinary, so I can't give a thorough verdict of its taste. With regards to the food servings, it is adequate enough for a P55.00 that I spent and probably not enough for a person with a big appetite.
The restaurant itself is big enough to accommodate a number of 50 people with tables and chairs outside preferable for those smoking diners. They only have few staffs but they all can serve the customers well without waiting that much - good service all in all. Would I go back to Kul Kitchen? Definitely yes, food is ok, service is ok, ambience is ok, so why not give it another shot.
