P145 - Choco Round

Today is Father's Day. And a great way to celebrate this special event is to spend it with your one and only dad. This year we simply celebrated it at home. Mom cooked chicken afritada while I bought a cake.

The CAKE

For the nth time, I bought Angelica Bakeshop's moist, Choco Round cake at its Gaisano Tabunok branch. I had previously made a review about this cake here. Luckily, this time around they've offered free dedication unlike last month's Mother's Day. Probably because more people buy cakes during Mother's day. Going back, this cake has been my consistent preference whenever I'm on a tight budget. At an affordable price of P145.00 you can already indulge in one of Cebu's best valued chocolate cake - good for 3-4 persons.

The Verdict

Once again, this cake did not disappoint; luscious, moist and chocolatey. We finished it with a big smile on our faces. Another +1 point to Angelica Bakeshop for being consistent with this cake recipe. So whenever your in a tight budget during special occasions, don't fret coz there's always Angelica's cake for your loved ones.
