As I've mentioned in my previous post regarding my Buddies GC prize from an online giveaway, BF and I went all the way to Piazza Elesia, Talamban to use my GC. We arrived in the resto at around 12nn and there was only one group dining there. So ordering was not that difficult for us as we've easily been accommodated. I went to the counter and ordered sizzling plates for our lunch. I was glad that the cashier, Thelma, was very polite and approachable. Although I think she's in her late 30's, she's still a very enthusiastic woman. She's a major plus factor to this resto. I told her I'd use my gc and she immediately accepted it.

I ordered sizzling burger steak, sizzling hungarian and chocolate milkshake. We then settled in after ordering and waited patiently for our orders. When our number was called, I immediately got our orders in the counter. The sizzling plates were really "sizzling", it was still boiling hot. Smoke fills the air and I can definitely smell the good aroma of our food. The burger steak and sauce is divine. It is very delicious. The meat is tender and very juicy. So, this is what people were raving about. Indeed it is a patty worth craving for. As for the sizzling hungarian, it tastes good. Just as good as other hungarian sausages I've tried. The gravy/sauce adds flavor to it, making it all worthwhile.

On the other hand, I was a bit disappointed with the small serving of rice :) - as I always say, I'm a rice-eater, hehehe. While I'm only a "bit" disappointed with the small serving of rice, the milkshake on the other hand is a totally "big" disappointment. We(BF and I) cannot believe we paid P80 for this small cup of milkshake. We were really shocked when we got it. Is this for real? We could actually buy 2 canned sodas for this 80 peso drink. Uh, oh, this is just too overpriced - unbelievable.
Will I go back to Buddies? I don't know, maybe if they'd have a branch nearer to our place. I'd probably order their sizzling plates rather than their burgers which I find pricier("quality~price" value. You can read my post here as to why) than others. In terms of burger, I'd rather choose Burger Joint, Flame It or Army Navy.
