Pampanga's Best, Inc. is a multi-million peso meat processing is a family business owned and operated by Mr. Angelo Hizon Jr. and Mrs Lolita Hizon with their twelve children. This company is one of the Kampampangan's pride in terms of food production. It is best known as one of Philippine's leading manufacturers of Philippine-styled sausages and cured meats. Their core products include Tocino, hotdogs, longaniza, ham and bacon to name a few.
Last night, June 3, I watched an episode of Aga Muhlach's show entitled Pinoy Explorer. They featured a few Luzon provinces highlighting products popular in their town. I think they visited Dagupan and Pampanga and a few more provinces I forgot to note. What really caught my attention was when they visited Pampanga's Best's factory/plant. The main plant is where they make and pack their famous cured meats and sausages. Aga, the show's host, wore a somewhat doctors uniform while packing hotdogs. Head is covered with a shower-cap, dressed in a rain-coat like/doctor-like uniform and hands protected in gloves. All other employees are dressed the same way. The plant seems to be very clean. Instruments, machineries and tables seemed to be made of stainless steels. The look and feel of the whole are is very neat and organized. Maybe that's the reason why they were awarded with Pampanga's best Meat Laboratory and 2nd Place Winner "AAA category" Best Meat Processing Plant.

I'm very cautious of the brands I purchase nowadays as I've seen a number of factories online and on tv that have poor sanitation practices in their factories. So it's very good to know that there are companies like
Pampanga's Best which value quality over quantity. I salute them for providing us quality and clean products, as they say "Cleanliness is next to Godliness".
