It's payday for most employees and so as BF's. So my "kind" BF treated me for dinner at one of my fave pizza place, Greenwich. Although Greenwich has quite a number of branches in Cebu, we still have a hard time going here coz most branches aren't near either one's workplace. But location is never a hindrance to ones hungry and craving stomach.
Finally, there we were seated in Greenwich's Raintree Mall branch. I ordered their "not so new" menu offering which is the Crispy Glazed Chicken. I know, I'm always late in trying out new/hit/trendy menu offerings. Don't disregard though, "It's better late than never", hahaha.
Is the Crispy Glazed Chicken worth it? The sweet sauce is not for the sweet-toothed who prefers those too-sweet-types coz the sweetness is just enough to delight everyone's palate. And how about those "crispy" skin, is it crispy enough to be called as such? Yes, its still crispy on the outside - literally crispy that you can actually hear that crisp sound in every bite. The insides doesn't disappoint either. Juicy chicken meat on the insides is what greets you once you tear those crunchy chicken skin. The picture above might not be appealing, but "looks can be deceiving". The taste is slightly comparable to that of Bonchon Chicken and Chicken Charlie's chicken. Serving size is a bit small though, and chicken part is also a bit small. But with a price tag of P89 with rice and softdrink, this is already a meal worth trying.
