As 2012 is nearing its end, I'd want to post here the highlights of this colorful year. God has been so good to me this year and I do hope that next year would be better.

A Cebuano political figure once said, "There's no place for second place." - the firsts are always the one's that leave a mark. And this year marks a lot of brilliant firsts for me. Those first times that I dreamt of and never thought of had happened. The first half of the year was spent with family and friends for summer bondings and birthday celebrations at:

• Kota Beach, Bantayan Island in February; 
• Tagaytay trip last March;
• Tingko Beach in Alcoy, Cebu in April; 
• family bonding at Agus Hotel
• bought my first laptop
• and a Day at Virgin Beach Resort in June. 

My first time in Tagaytay was all worthwhile whilst it is the best trip for the first half of the year. This period was also the time when I started blogging again and finally got approved for Adsense.

The second half was as big as the first starting from the David Cook concert up to my Hongkong Trip.

• David Cook concert last July - the first ever concert I saw;
• Having another godson was also a lucky charm, this is my 2nd godson;
• had my very first mutual fund investment
• My first ever mountain climbing experience at Osmena Peak;
• my first fine dining experience at Anzani;
• and my first ever international travel in Hongkong. 

The Hongkong trip was the best way to end up my 2012. Though I'm a bit broke now, I'm still happy and proud that I was able to travel to another country while spending less. As a result I saved a few bucks still.

I'd be looking forward to another great year ahead. See you 2013!!!
